Priya Varrier Lands In Trouble! Complaint Filed Against Her For Hurting Muslim Sentiments

While you all were crushing on internet sensation Priya Prakash Varrier, there were some people, on the other hand, who took offence to her song. A group of Muslim youth has filed complaint in Hyderabad against the internet sensation as well as the makers of the song Manikya Malaraya Poovi from film Oru Adaar Love for hurting religious sentiments.

Wondering what the matter is? According to a report on republicworld.com, the complainants have claimed that the song insults the Prophet when translated into English. An FIR is yet to be registered.

“I never thought this would become such a sensation. The wink wasn't planned,” she was quoted as saying by NDTV adding, “I am very happy and exciting. So many people falling in love and all that, it's new but I'm very happy.”
