इससे पहले प्रदेश में होने वाली 9500 पटवारियों की भर्ती परीक्षा राजस्व विभाग पटवारी भर्ती नियमों में संशोधन का हवाला देकर करीब छह महीने टाल दी गयी थी । ट्रेनिंग मॉड्यूल पुराना हो चुका था, जबकि समय के साथ नई टेक्नोलॉजी भी आई है। नई टेक्नोलॉजी को भी ट्रेनिंग कोर्स में जोड़ा जाएगा। साथ ही अब पटवारियों को स्टेट कैडर दिया जाएगा, ताकि प्रदेश में कहीं भी उनका तबादला हो सके। मंत्री गुप्ता के मुताबिक इन नियमों को बदलने के बाद भर्ती परीक्षा आयोजित होगी।

ट्रेनिंग के लिए कॉलेज लेंगे किराए पर

भर्ती के बाद सरकार के पास सिर्फ दो हजार पटवारियों को ट्रेनिंग देने की व्यवस्था है। इस कमी को दूर करने के लिए सरकार अब इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज सालभर के लिए किराए पर लेगी।
